None of our products are guaranteed to stop a thief taking your belongings but they are the best deterrent on the market today. Most thieves know about security devices and will tend not to bother attempting to get at something which is locked up with a Lock Alarm product; they know that the chances of them getting away with the goods unnoticed are very slim and even the most determined thief would have a real struggle getting one of our locks off.
Your average opportunist thief will run as soon as the alarm goes off, if they get that far. Let us say that the criminal goes to get some wire or bolt cutters and comes to try and take the lock off; a 120 decibel alarm will sound and at that point most thieves will run and if they don't they'll probably get caught.

It is a sad fact that there are people in our society that will steal anything which has been left unattended and is not bolted down. You could leave your bicycle outside of a shop, you are only going to be a minute in the store, and when you come out your bike has gone and you have been the victim of crime; the opportunist thief. Police figures tell us that most thefts, somewhere in the region of 98%, are opportunistic; the bike analogy is the most typical example. The worst thing is that there is little chance of getting your belongings back and even if the thief is caught they are likely only to be given a caution and a small fine.
In this blog we will be talking about our products and ways by which to deter those with light fingers for trying to make a quick buck off your back.
